Why should I not wash my hair on my wedding day?
If you are having an up do on your wedding day we do recommend that you do not wash your hair. When hair is clean and fresh it makes it almost impossible to work with and grips have the potential to slide out throughout the day.
Hair that has been slept on is perfect.

A friend told me I shouldn't have any type of massage on my wedding day?
Listen to your friend she's right!
Any form of massage on a wedding day is a complete NO!
Massage helps increase the flow of oxygen into the blood stream and helps muscles release toxins. It also stimulates the skin and nervous system. Therefore you could have reactions to massage, such as headache, sickness, aching muscles and fatigue.
Importantly make-up applied to the face after massage could appear orange in tone due to the stimulation of the skin.
Treat yourself the week before the big day to avoid any of the above problems arising.

I want to have my legs and underarms waxed when should I do it?
Unless you wax on a regular basis waxing will only keep skin hair free for a few days. Four weeks hair free only happens when you have been having waxing treatments over several months. I would tell brides to start their waxing at least six months before their weddng day.
Please do not have waxing in the week before your wedding.

Should I have facials prior to my wedding?
It is a good idea to start planning your skin care routine several months prior to the big day. Facials are good for everyone and what better reason than to make sure your skin is in tip top condition for your wedding day!
I'd recommend researching some local salons first, chat to the therapists about what they offer as well as what they think would be suitable for your needs.
If you haven't followed a course of facials I would not recomend having one in the week prior to your wedding day. You could end up disturbing the skin and this might not clear before the big day!
